It is not caste based segregation by the system. It is economics at play. People with more money, resources even if from lower caste or a muslim for eg. Mulayam's entire family, Azam khan's entire family, lalu's entire family.. they all have and continue to misuse the system to their advantage. The system is misused using power and money in combination. And, these three families religion and caste highlight this issue. So, Rahul is utterly wrong in bringing in caste to divide the social fabric and then pretend to act as it's saviour.

Sanjay jha seems to have lost his head...the Congress is a non player in UP, west Bengal, Bihar where BJP has done fantasically well in the last 2 lok sabha elections.. the switch in india's voting happens only when there is a genuine choice..Look at Odisha why has Naveen Patnaik won so many terms its not because BJD perform exceedingly well..its because the opposition could never give a better CM candidate..In Karnataka Congress won because they presented a alternate.
