DIY FACE MASK EASY || PLUS MAKING YOUR OWN SEWING PATTERN

How to make a fashionable facemask by yourself. I also show you how easy it is to construct your custom pattern for your face mask.

Step by step explanation :
1. Choose your fabric
2. Cut out 3 rectangles with the size 30cm x 13cm
3. Take 2 of your rectangles and place the left sides on each other and fold it in half.
4. Place your pattern on your 2 folded rectangles and draw around it and cut it out with a 5mm-7mm distance on all sides.
5. Take the 3rd rectangle and do the same as in step 4 but this time when you fold your rectangle the right sides have to face each other.
6. Sew the front sides together ( the longest line on your pattern)do step sews on your double folded fabric piece to get away from the excess on the left side. (1-2mm distance)
7. Pin both pieces together right sides facing each other and sew around it and leave a Lil space because we have to unfold everything. And don't forget to cut off the edges they will be very annoying when u unfold everything to keep clear edges.
8. Now unfold and get a pen or pencil and go into the edges with it to reach the form you wanted.
9. At the end, i like to sew another step sew around the piece. This will help to keep everything in place and looks very pretty.
10. Add the elastics as seen in my video :)

And you are already done. I have a fashion background but i have very much respect of the sewing craft itself so you can be sure i will only show you the easiest ways. So good luck with your sewing process :)
