I'm 19 and Five Nights at Freddy's is my favorite video game franchise of all time because of the lore.
There are few things I'm obsessed with, and FNaF is one of those things.

Also... it's a game franchise about children being kidnapped, murdered, and brutally stuffed into robotic outfits. We see the deaths of several major characters on screen, with blood. They aren't too graphic, but they are there. Plus, there are very, very dark themes.
Five Nights at Freddy's is not a kids game. At least, it shouldn't be. This franchise is so dark and some of the themes are so horrifying that if I ever have children, I will not let them play a single FNaF game until they're at least 14.
