That marlin wasn't stupid, like nah, something isnt right here. What a beautiful animal though, like an underwater jet

I thought it was so cool at 0:24 how the Marlin makes itself super aerodynamic by tucking in its fin's and then all of sudden when it wants to slow down it looks like a perfect triangle. Such an awesome animal, great shot also Dave.

Sometimes I wonder how lucky we are to be born as humans. Our great ancestors survived all the horrors and did all the hard works just to get us here where we are right now. Now I can stress about how I missed my leg day this week and not about losing my life constantly.

I amazed at the ease that marlin keeps up with the boat and the deftness at which it swoops in and evaluations the situation.

anyone else notice how the marlin kept trying to invoke a reaction from the bait, and when the lures didnt respond like normal fish, i think it came to the conclusion that it was a trap.?.

What an amazing fish! So fast and agile and so damn cool-looking!

If you watch the last couple seconds you see the marlin break away from the teaser and head to the surface and take one of the baits with a hook. What you see for most of the video is designed not for the marlin to attack, but to bring it in long enough for it to notice the lures above its head. Very cool video.
