Jordan Allen - I recently rewatched Big Hero 6 for the 50th time and was wondering... why did we never get a sequel? It has a 89% on rotten tomatoes and made north of 650 million worldwide, plus it won best picture. What more could of happened to warrant a sequel?

My guess is that they did have some story and villain ideas but they realized that by themselves they weren't long or complex enough to sustain an entire movie and so they just decided to make it an animated series

The series basically fits as a continuation of the 2014 movie, and possibly something to buy time before the possible sequel, which puts it as the conclusion to the story if it's a bit like Avengers: Endgame. Sure, this was underrated for some, and not all ever heard of the original Marvel comic series which served as the basis. The movie hasn't even covered Sunfire if not in BH6TS, as far as the plot goes, and with Stan Lee dead, chances are it might not happen soon enough.

Thanks to Disney+ I finally was able to watch the animated series and well yes it is different with the change in medium, you get more character development and growth well doing more mini stories... I feel like it is more story and time with the characters so I will take it as a win

I really liked Big Hero 6, but there was one issue I had with it. In the end, instead of using Baymax to save the day, I would have had Hiro use his magnets to save the day. The ending, while more impactful, kinda undermines Hiro's growth. He originally used his magnets for street battling, then had it stolen and used it for evil, and it would have been a great circle if he used it to save the astronaut daughter. It would be a mirror of Hiro's journey. But instead, we get a nice Tadashi and Baymax moment. Not complaining too much, just saying they could have made it better.


Also, I know I'm not alone when I say Tangled wasn't that good. Sorry, Kris Carr, but 'a lot' is more like just a little more than half the audience.

If they would, they would’ve probably made it about Tadashi maybe still being alive, and apart of being a villain or some shit then coming out not be villain idk, something, but if they did I think they would something to do with Tadashi mostly....
