That's BS Hayes. Congress has the last word, not the Supreme Court. It looks that way because we don't have a democratic majority on the SC. And the SC doesn't make laws; its duty is to interpret laws.

You mentioned tonight that Bernie Sanders and AOC aren't the voice of the Democratic party, but that they are the only ones out there, which is very true. But we need whatever voice we can get right now, we need hope, which they are giving us right now. People are responding ecstatically, especially in Colorado. Not only were there 34, 000 people that showed up in Denver Friday afternoon, but they were actually in Greeley, Colorado Friday morning to a crowd of 11, 300 in a city with a population of a little over 100, 000!

What's the point of a new voting rights act? This court will gut that one too.

Voters want to see actions taken by Government which make their lives better. Border safety is an expectation and explaining/complaining that Republicans didn't vote for a border bill won't satisfy voters.

Hayes is going around in a circle with his argument that the Biden-Harris campaign is not focused enough on voting rights. When you are running a campaign for public office, you are in fact focused on voting rights, because you want as many people as possible to vote for you.

We have to get a majority in the House to put forth legislation that will put the SC in check. We have to get many more Senators too.

As you all know, or should know, these comment sections are just for us because i doubt any are really read by the person whose media supervisor posts the videos we comment on. So it is not a vehicle for change but rather an exercise in group particapation. All that being said, i have been stating just about everywhere the need to have a 1rst Admendment ademdum speciffically targeting all Politicians, Politcal Appointees, and Poiltical Canidates Forbidding Desiminating False Information and/or Lying to the American Public for any Reason at any Time. Can't Lie to the Police. Can't Lie to Congress. Can't Lie in Court. And Can't Lie to your Employer without the risk of disciplinary action taken against you. Our "Employees" must be compelled to tell the Truth, tbe Whole Truth, and nothing but the Truth while engaging in the business of the People!! Among reforms that are blatently obvious, this should be the foundation of Any!, proceedure, action or language used to craft such a law. This is what you need to push onto your "Employee". All this absolute degradation in public confidence in Politics would be a completely different story by now if such a law existed and you knew what is being said to you is the truth by Political entities. Contact your rep!!! Bring this issue to life!! Or it will continue to further erode whats left of public confidence in governing

Hayes with his "both sides" argument is not helping matters much. Easy to see he doesn't vote for presidential candidates except probably Libertarian.
