Sat next to my dad in shul singing this song decades ago
Wish for those days back. Great memories
We walked to shul and sang in my early years. Miss my dad every day

As a marginally observant Jew I feel very comfortable viewing this concert. It’s been 70 years since my bar mitzvah but this takes me home.

I’m not Jewish, but I love this song and find it theologically interesting. I never before thought about how, before creation, God ruled alone with no one worshipping him. My favorite version was a live-streaming of Azi Schwartz in an Israeli hospital singing it to a wounded IDF soldier who, toward the end of the song, during the chorus, sang along with Azi.

Something about Hebrew music plucks the heartstrings. Don’t know what is it but I always feel moved after listening, even though I’m not Jewish myself

I am very senior. My whole life has been committed to my family and Jewish culture, matched by The love of Israel. I sang Adon Olam as a child sitting in shule next to my father. Thanks!
