I agree with everyone else here - this is the best video I have found on this Windows 10 install from USB, clear, to the point, and with nearly every step distinctly described.
Realize that they did all this instruction in just over 4 minutes ! Compare that to the 10, 12, or 15 minute rambling and sometimes suspect videos that use dodgy 3rd party utilities or don't show each step and still take 3 times longer. Well done.

The best step by step tutorial so far I found on the internet. No talkshit. Just straight to the point and no long introduction.

After attempting to do many resests through default BIOS and command prompt and a dozen failed attempts decided to go simple and old school and worked fantastically. Thank You! Easiest method out there

Thank you so much for this! In my case I was trying to revert a Windows 11 laptop (which came with 11 pre-installed) back to Windows 10. I did everything the same up until the point where you install it.

Before installing I had to go into the BIOS, to "Boot" and disable both default boot options. Then I disabled NvMe in the Fast Boot section, at the same time setting USB to Full Initial. Then I enabled Fast Boot.

After that I Saved and resetted which brought me to the normal install screen you showed. Did everything from there the same, until it was time to reboot.

When restarting it was just looping me back to the install screen. So on the next restart I entered the BIOS again. Simply reverted all the changes I had made.

After saving and resetting once again, it worked! I hope this helps anyone else who had the same problems I did.

I followed this video and it actually worked! I was in a reset loop at 64% when I tried to do a factory reset. This helped save me £70 to get if fixed which I was booked in to do tomorrow! Thank you so much!

little bit of advice for anyone doing this. unplug any other storage you have for now and only leave the drive you wanna boot from plugged in this will stop the possibility of having the boot files spread across more then one drive

If your having trouble getting to the USB, you can hold SHIFT + click RESTART on the login menu, from there go to advanced options and click USE EUFI, and there should be an option to USE UEFI USB. This will boot up the USB,

This is so helpful. I wanted to add. For those of you with an old ASUS laptop ... you may need to enable Legacy Boot (in BIOS) in order for it to recognize your USB. This had me scrambling for awhile but finally figured out to enable Legacy Boot.
Once enabling Legacy Boot, make sure to Save changes and Exit. Then power off the computer. Power it back on and press Delete key or F2 (i recommend alternating between the two just in case, this is how to access the BIOS initially as well). Then a screen will pop up to select where to boot from. Your USB should display in the list. Select it by navigating with the arrow keys then press enter.

*TO EVERYONE* : if your usb has files on it, MAKE A BACKUP SOMEWHERE, because it's gonna delete ALL the files on the USB if there are any. i had many important college stuff on mine and now it's GONE :(
