It’s a State issue. Governor responsible. His State Emergency Dept. Funds and Resources are there. State EOC initially. Then Governor should be leading way on other Resources, Directives.

Your Governor is on his way out. Still need to hammer on State for help in these areas. Contact Emergency Management. County or State. List needs. Get Resources and Funds. Bring attention of Needs to them again.

Maybe contact Habitat For Humanity for tradesman help fixing Electric Boxes. Plumbing. Just an idea.

Also would hit up Samaritan’s Purse in Boone. Close and ask for Help on specifics or Guidance.

If you had DeSantis of FL, he would be all over it.

I stayed up all night election night listening to all of his speech through the night until he knew he had won.. I'm guessing you didn't or you would know that he said that he wasn't just going to help the hurricane victims out, but change the process for future disasters.

The lack of government response is shameful! Anything Trump is able to do will be more. Please keep all of us advised of progress being made on your property getting dried out, need for sheet rock etc and getting your barn rebuilt. I live in Florida and we got hit by both Helene and Milton. Our neighborhood looks like a war zone, . Our elderly neighbors lost everything. Our governor, DeSantis did such a great job helping our state. However, I can tell you that our local Major has not done a thing to help out our community. I trust that God will lead President Trump to be able to assist in the recovery efforts. God Bless.

For any of our fellow citizens to say that it isn't the governments responsibility to help OUR CITIZENS, are they okay with OUR money going to other countries to fix THEIR issues. If we dont take care of OUR family (OUR CITIZENS) we have no business helping anyone else.
We MUST take care of our people FIRST. Then if we are able we may help others.
I don't want one cent of my tax dollars to go to another country or to help anyone who is not a citizen of this county, if we have ONE United States Citizen that is need.
