You don't seem to understand that "fundamentals" are shaped by people who purchase Tesla cars. With 1/2 of the US population hating Elon Musk, you still think this has "nothing" to do with Tesla fundamentals?

Typically, this kind of situation is not covered by books on investing - I don't know of any situation that is similar to the current situation with Tesla - so, I understand the confusion.

You say the precipitous drop has nothing to do with fundamentals but I disagree. On paper obviously the company is doing great, but when you drop 250 dollars a share and still have a p/e of 120... It kind of makes you an easy target.
