I love this version/duet with Kelly Clarkson! I feel like she adds some additional dynamics to the song (especially the last few choruses) & some beautiful vocals. I think it feels more repetitive to me when it’s the original version, but Kelly adds her magic even though she’s not totally going off in the song. She’s such a respectful duet partner & I love that about her!

Kelly is simply at the top echelon of female singers today. Her ability to blend with Teddy and inject so much top-end soul just sends shivers up and down the spine. Just a great duet.

Re the lack of eye contact of Teddy toward Kelly, I did hear him on a later interview gush high praises over her to like a diva level (in the best way) and seemed really humble to even be in the same room with Kelly, despite her being such a big fan. So, might have been hard for him to stay in the "zone" in her presence.

Teddy is a force of nature... Take my word for it, his popularity is going to sky rocket if you look how often he is played on Virgin Radio these days. His cover of "I can't make you love me" is a tear jerker. The pain is easily felt... Thx for your reaction.
