AutoNation’s Drive Pink Campaign on a Mission

Показать описание
The ongoing quest to find more and better ways to battle cancer requires research and research requires funding. AutoNation Drive Pink Campaign is raising funds to continue the fight against breast cancer. Individual donations add up, but large companies are taking a role in fundraising.
Regional Marketing Director, Mark Osmers, notes there are 373 AutoNation franchises across the U.S. While the corporate effort is to support all things related to cancer, the biggest impact comes when the cancer concerns in the community are addressed. AutoNation employees are involved and with 27,000 employees, teams of 50, to several hundred can be put together to help with fundraising events.
The Drive Pink Campaign started in 2015 and soared on both social media and the roadways. What was to be a three month effort has been extended for a full year. AutoNation has donated over $6 million to cancer research and treatment centers to help drive out cancer.
Another way of making a positive impact on breast cancer research is the AutoNation Cure Bowl. Last year’s Cure Bowl raised money to directly benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. A check for $1 million was presented to the foundation during halftime. The efforts will continue with this year’s game in an effort to promote the Drive Pink Campaign and raise more money to eliminate cancer from the face of the earth.
