These are the mysterious lights near the North Pole of Jupiter. On Earth they are Auroras.

However, Unlike Earth these lights are many-many times more energetic and spread over way larger area.

On Earth they are caused when Solar Wind interacts with its magnetic field.

However, on Jupiter they are not only caused by Sun but also by the hottest and most volcanic moon called IO.
