Here’s an example:

Parents make comments
When will you get married, when will you have kids?
You automatically roll your eyes
It’s because you get this urge to roll your eyes.
The urge to roll your eyes is created out of the thought, oh, here we go again…

Well here we go again is a thought,
Thoughts lead to feelings,
The feeling here is Urge.

The first thing when you feel urge is to roll your eyes.
Immediately after urge, you usually roll your eyes.

So how long can you be with your urge to roll your eyes, WITHOUT rolling your eyes?

Can you play with that this week, just once?

When you do this once this week, will you recognize yourself and tell yourself “good job?”

Try that.

Maybe it’s the key to creating space between the urge to roll your eyes and actually rolling your eyes.
