I am still trying to figure if I need or want Logic, but, you by far give the clearest information about it. I have been using Reaper for years, but, I'm now entering the MIDI side of music. And it was supplied with Ableton Lite. So things slowly coming along.

its a bit disappointing that if you'd like to use all the "Character" features in the mastering assistant you'll need the Apple silicon

Another new “feature” is that the scribble strips on the behringer xtouch xtender controller no longer work… they just go blank when you launch logic. Everything else works, faders, buttons, knobs etc and the main xtouch controller that is also connected works fine including “coloured” scribble strips that almost match (there is a limited 8-colour pallet) the colours assigned to the logic tracks. I hope this is a bug that Apple will fix.

Hi folks, I've watched this vid and read a ton of news online, but still can't confirm: Does Ventura and Logic Pro 10.8 finally support ARA natively in Apple Silicon? This is required for Melodyne and VocAlign to work more quickly when capturing tracks. Up to now, you've had to run them under Rosetta to make ARA work, but that sucks. Can anyone confirm if ARA fully works now natively? Thanks!

I just upgraded Logic ProX from last version to 10.8 after Upgrading to Ventura as well on my mac mini M1 with 16GB of Ram and 512GB SSD. Logic no longer opens up completely previous projects. Shows the gain plugin and that's it. When I create a new project it works fine. Please help. Thank you-David

They suck for making the full master experience for apple silicon only 😭 but the clean is amazing. Ppl have to now buy whole new computers just cuz 😵‍💫

It made all my previous projects unlistenable or unbouncable, the vocals are completely off time by a lot, when I quantize it gets even worse. It’s like playback latency that I cannot for the life of me fix. Is anyone else having this issue? I’ve even tried bouncing the tracks and putting them into garage band but the issue is still present.

Logic is by far the best! Pitty I cant stand apple and their annoying janky peripherals
