In my Mega Man Zero Lost Bits, MANY of you have mentioned that you'd be interested in a video covering Mega Man ZX and ZX Advent, even if it's on the shorter side, so here we are! With the Mega Man Zero/ZX Collection coming out soon, I thought this would be a great time to dive into the Mega Man ZX series!

Aight so I asked someone and this is what I came up with:

上 translates to up / above

共 means together / both / all / alike

穴 means pit / hole

I missed some of them but it seems they are all organized labeling of the levels' ceiling and pit death boundaries. I'm guessing since they labeled them by number the 共 must mean that multiple screens are part of the same ceiling boundary, unseperated by walls.

That's the best I can come up with. Hope it helps

Edit: So for the test Room, some of you have pointed out that I might've unknowingly had an item equipped that negates floor effects, so I went back and checked without any items and the only thing that changed was the sandy looking terrain which does cause you to sink! Thanks for the heads up and sorry for being a big dumb.

Well, there's still one more lost bit in this franchise: a proper ending. Can't wait for everyone to buy the upcoming collection thinking Capcom will finally make a third game, even though they absolutely won't, just like they didn't make a new X game after everyone rushed to buy those two poorly put together collections.
