Arrma Kraton 6s EXB | HOSS 4x4 VXL | BASHING

Hey everyone, in this video we took out the Kraton, Rustler, and the Hoss for some heavy bashing! All 3 cars have been known to break for us, so let’s see which car survives! All 3 cars are always a blast to go out and bash!

Regarding the Kraton, I think we are almost out of the woods with the constant breaking. Outside of the drive cups, I don’t see a lot more parts being a problem for us.

Darn. Sorry y’all are having so many breaks but thanks for putting the K6EXB through its paces! Going on about a year with my truggified Typhon 6s and haven’t had any issues. Running a Max6 4990-1650kv combo and Corally Sketer tires. (have quickly become a favorite) Everywhere I read said I would have to switch to spiral cut gears, but the stock straight cut have had no issues so I haven’t touched the diffs outside of changing fluid. Stinks that the “revised” outdrives have been problematic for y’all, but thanks to you guys I know to stay away from them.

Also, try a Rustler body on that Hoss. You’ll have to do a bit of trimming but it should be more durable at the very least.

Oh, and I got a Kraton 8s EXB last week! My first Kraton and my first large scale RC. Thought I was gonna end up with an Outcast but the deal was too good to pass up. I like buying used cuz it’s a good excuse to strip it down and rebuild it — familiarize yourself with the platform like building a kit. Bashed it a few times first to break anything that may have been getting close to it but the worst I had to do is reglue some tires. Rebuilt it this weekend and everything is perfect! Also threw some earplugs in the center diff. (first time attempting it) Giving the tire glue time to cure today and then I’ll be ripping it tomorrow! 🤘

M2C racing outdrives.. I'll agree that the 6s Arrma line is a tad overrated. Catastrophic diff/diff cup issues nearly every run for me too. I wouldn't give up on the Arrma brand. The 4s trucks are perfect and the 3s trucks with a few upgrades are awesome too.

The kraton exb v2 is a good unit. I bash the hell out of mine and I'm not seeing all these failures. Granted I'm not sending mine 25ft into the air and landing flat at best. They are heavy. 14lbs with a battery. Not sure what you guys expect out of these. Seems a little outrageous to expect them to not break sending it like that lol
