Welcome to Taiwan, a beautiful island nation located in East Asia. Its people are thought to be some of the most considerate and kind in asia - and its food some of the best.

Taiwan is also a melting pot of cultures, with influences from China, Japan, and indigenous tribes. This unique blend can be seen in Taiwan's architecture, art, and festivals. Taiwan's subtropical climate is conducive to a wide range of outdoor activities and makes it a popular travel destination throughout the year. Disclaimer: This video is not a list of top 5 or 10 must-see destinations style video, for the fact that I have been here many times before, and that this visit was a family reunion with my brother and nephew who live there. My brother took behind the wheel in a rented van, allowing us flexibility to go anywhere we wanted to. This offered a more candid and relaxed style travel with lots of experiences you will not see in typical travel videos. I did not get the chance to film every point of interest as I chose to focus on family time and enjoying the moment - I suggest you do the same when you travel. We just got back from a 10-day vacation in Taiwan for our 10-year anniversary. We visited Taipei, Jiufen, Shifen, Fulong beach, Taichung, and Sun Moon Lake. Was the best vacation we ever had, and we left with so much still to explore. We cannot wait to go back there again!
