My name is Jake. I think i went to school with Jacob's brother - i was close friends with him for a time so very likely we met as children, i even remember being welcomed into your home in Woodstock. Subhanallah it's incredible that Allah SWT has led us both down very different paths in life but He has blessed us both with faith in islam nontheless. Its good to see English speaking people becoming muslim. Our language was replaced by English after colonisation, as a result we speak English as a major language and this has resulted in creating a distance between us and our religion(islam), because our Native scholars educate us with the native tounge. Unfortunately there is a barrier. But with social media and scholars who speak English we are able to connect to the teachings of our deen. Jazakallahu khair for all your efforts Paul.

As a former Christian i started to have doubt about Jesus when i couldn't answer the question, why would God create a son so we worship the son and not God...i at one point stop praying to Jesus and prayed to God. Unknowingly to me this was the beginning of my journey to what i am now; a muslim living in the Middle East
