Amazing!! Shooting the heaviest payload Rover yet at an ever moving target... initiating the most complex Entry & Landing sequence ever attempted.... and nailing perfection!! Not sure if most people appreciate the tremendous engineering feat accomplished here. Well done NASA & JPL!! Well done!!

Perserverance should go to opportunities last known coordinates and try to get it working if it finds it.

This is something to be very excited about. Very proud of perseverance team. A huge step for mankind. Loving every second of it

I bet the alien's on mars is getting pretty pissed off having to move their entire species to the other side of the planet to avoid dangerous mentally unstable humans and here we go again

Waiting for an alien inhabitant to walk up to the rover, flip it the bird, then kick it. 🤣

I can't get over how sharp and crisp the shadow of the rover itself is on ground. You can make out nearly every part of the strut and wheel assembly in the silhouette. And in the distance (in the upper right corner) what looks like the rim of the crater.

This is honestly unbelievable. It's amazing how far we have come.

Imagine having the technology, dedicated research, and testing team willing to put this entire thing together, provide photography, and hillbillies who’s parents are siblings still insist this is entirely fake without providing a single hint of evidence towards their claim.
Edit: This reply section only further justifies my comment, refer to my paragraph written reply if you still cannot feel the need to educate yourself.

I am old. I heard what the young lady said and am excited by it and all that....but I couldn't get past the quiver in her voice. She is nervous as all hell and, to my eyes anyway, she looks about 12. I'm sure she is an amazing professional woman but to my old self...well...doesn't matter what it is to my old self. Be Proud, young lady, you are serving your mission well!

Thank you for posting this. The NASA announcer gal seems a little nervous even though she is doing a fine job.

In a distant future we will have flat earthers on the surface of Mars too.
