The first time I heard of using ACV to suppress hunger was when I started my one meal a day (OMAD) diet last year. The website mentioned that there was an old wives remedy to use ACV to reduce your hunger, so as it explained I started drinking 1 tbsp ACV in 1 cup of water immediately after my meal (they recommended juice instead of water if it was too nasty). It did a fantastic job of making me stop thinking about food, and helped keep me on track with my intermittent fasting.
It's now 9 months later, I've lost about 120 lbs. I'm not as strict with my fasting or ACV these days, just counting my calories and staying away from simple carbs for the most part.

Works for me to reduce craving sweets. I was gaining a lot of weight due to overeating and I could not stand it another day. In the study referred to here, there were not three different concentrations of ACV but rather three different amounts/doses (that can be calculated as concentration x volume). The amounts 18, 23 and 28 mmol corresponds to taking a typical 5% (= 0.833 mol/l) strength ACV at the volumes of appr. 22, 28 and 34 ml. This would be like putting about 4-7 teaspoons of ACV in whatever amount of water needed for your palate.

I feel like apple cider vinegar has been the leading coefficient in my weight loss routine over the last couple years. Hard to describe scientifically, It's just the way my body feels and whether I feel hungry or not, which might have something to do with grelin

ACV is my new treatment for heartburn / acid reflux. It's seems weird but it works. I use it before weightlifting because that usually triggers heartburn for me. I'll start dosing up more now though. It will make be brush my teeth more too so win win

I add 1 or 2 tbsps of ACV to my collagen (green apple stevia flavor)/avocado smoothie simply because I like the end taste result.

I found the best way for me to ingest apple cider vinegar I think. I bought a glass dropper bottle with a glass dropper, and some size 000 gelatin capsules, which is the largest I could get. I fill up one of those capsules and then take it and then fill up another and take it, the capsule doesn't have enough time to be made mushy by the vinegar by the time you swallow it if you just act in a timely fashion, no throat burn, no tooth decay.

I've been watching a lot of your videos and a big question I have in terms of things like ACV and black coffee while intermittent fasting: How does the acidity of both affect your stomach when it's empty? Are there any long-term negative effects to gut health?

I eat a lot of ginger and cinnamon all the time, so my carb utilization should be getting boosted enough anyway.

You should switch to organic red wine vinegar for the resveratrol. Also easy to make in 2 weeks with red wine.

So do we take it b4 a meal or after? I usually take 2 tbsps of diluted ACV about 20 to 30 mins b4 I eat so am I taking it right or should I be taking it after? I want to make sure I get the most benefits from it! And is 2 tbsps to much to take or should I only be taking 1 tbsp? What is the max amt per day that is safe to take? Thanks! 😊
