However, I don't think it's a good idea Simon to Rev the engine right after starting. You should let it idle a bit to get oil circulating and lubricating everything inside. Especially after sitting "OFF" so long.

You might want to consider letting the engine oil pressure increase before you bring the engine up over idle.
When I was in the Navy we waited at least two minutes unless it was an emergency.

The engine sound lovely but I was a bit concerned was that asbestos rolled up on the floor in front of you off the pipes.

I know yall said you would do a q&a at some point, but is there a plan to overhaul the engines? Those things gotta have a lot of mileage under their belt.
