"Mom, Reimu's bullying me again!" -Marisa

She is Marisa's mom in the same vein as Piccolo being Gohan's Dad. That's my headcanon.

20-years-cooking returns might taste better than we think.

I'm not with the whole "we want mima back gang but i would like at least a little bit of clarification for those two.
Also, is Marisa's mom ever mentionned when we talk about her family ?

In the PC-98, Marisa is shown to respect Mima to the point that she treats her more like a Master/Teacher(calls her by honorifics of _-sama_ )however the weird thing here is that there's no actual interaction between the two that can actually tell their relationship and better yet, ZUN refuses to explain/elaborate the relationship between the two which means that... either Mima will return in the future or not. However, I do believe that Mima would return in the future because the soundtrack is named *Reincarnation* after all

That's a pretty interesting theory you brought up, although it's hard to see Mima as Marisa’s biological mother, although since Marisa did serve as Mima’s apprentice for a while, I guess you could claim that Mima was like a mother figure to Marisa.

I'm pretty sure that section is actually talking about Alice. Besides the fact that the entire CD heavily implies that Alice is actually the blonde girl mentioned later for many many reasons, hers is the western house that we do not know why it's in the forest of magic to begin with.
Marisa built hers by herself, and it's western because she just likes the western look of witches, besides the fact that Marisa is from the village and stuff as well.
The text even makes a lot more sense when matched up with Alice. The villagers know that a girl lived in the woods in this house, and recently, after an implied amount of time, they have seen someone that looked exactly like that first girl when she was young, so they assume it must be that girl's daughter.
But It's much more likely the text here is implying the girl in question doesn't actually age at all anymore, which matches up with Alice and her still very human appearance. (Also mima and Marisa don't even look alike to cause this assumption, maybe if they had the same hair color)

As for the song, the songs in this CD aren't chosen because of the characters involved, but simply because of theming and their title meanings. Like the use of Shangai Alice of Meji used to show the importance of the Shangai Alice colony in china in the story and the honest men, un Owen was her to correlate the situations to murder and the Agatha Christie book, and reincarnation because of what happens to one of the men, and here we see people assume that this girl almost reincarnated into her daughter since they appear to look the same.

In the PC-98 era Marisa also gets called "A Being Made Of Magic And Red Dreams" as a character title even though she's supposedly human...

I kinda view her as being considered by the person as being like a daughter.

Maybe not by blood, but in a way by heart yes, With Mima training her, watching after her as she continues to grow in strength.

I like the idea of these two having a united Last Word together, showing some bond.

This theory is my headcanon. I'll keep it.

Marisa has an actual family living in the Human Village, they have a humble shop where Rinnosuke used to work. The story of the CD is just a murder mistery in the style of Ten Little Indians (i guess zun really likes that one) that takes place in Gensokyo. It hardly has any real connection to the actual canon

Dunno if she is Marisa mom but she can be my mommy

The later CDs tend to often use character songs for things that aren't directly related to those characters. The only thing we know about Marisa's biological family is that her father is implied to be an ordinary human and Marisa hated her dad so much that she ran away from home. It's unlikely that Mima's her mom given that she'd have to had ran away alongside Marisa if she were to raise her in the house in the woods and what little we actually know about her past is that she was sealed by a Hakurei Shrine Maiden. Not to mention that the DiPP exclusive characters are honest men in name only.

But they described a mansion? So wouldn’t that mean its the Scarlet Devil Mansion? Or maybe Alice’s house?

Its very confusing, the CD as a whole is implied to be about how alice came to dwell in gensokyo, with the implication being that she murdered the other "dolls" and became a witch, which is why an identical girl visits the town years later, because witches dont age. But notably, the comiket 63 AND comiket 62 versions of the album have similar interludes about a blonde haired girl, but the 62 version, which seems a closer match to a potential alice backstory has nothing about a daughter looking like her mother, which seems a weird thing to add in for a rerelease devoid of the original context, and notably, the 62 version has the comment about the blonde girl on the "Flying shrine maiden" track which is implied to be either reimu or the previous hakurei shrine maiden, so why would a comment about a daughter show up on "Reincarnation"s version of events, so its possible that the two lines are just similar and they're unrelated events. Which makes it a reasonable assumption that Mima is Marisa's mother.

But now I wonder how such a powerful magician would die and why Marisa has never become immortal, and most importantly, why is marisa called a being of magic and red dreams in lotus land story?

Honestly think all of Pseudoparadise is a big red herring from a weird transitionary period when ZUN hadn't fully decided on how lore continuity between PC-98 and Windows eras would work

Yes, she was once Marisa’s Adoptive Mom.

Could be implication that the woman in the house reversed her aging.
