I'm getting the I7 11th gen Nvidia 30:50 RTX 32 GB ram 2TB ssd next Monday so excited to get it, I've got the Surface Doc 2 & am planning on running 2 moniters off it pluging in my razer huntsman elite keyboard & razer mouse, in the future I might even get an EGPU to PROPERLY game on.

Just wanted to say thanks, this was a great review. I am interested in this one but the price point is currently a little high for me as a college student. I have the book 1 w/ i7 8gb and the nvidia card and it works well for CAD and programming items but I can tell its getting old on me as the years pass. Glad to know it can do everything I need it for.

I want to replace my 15" Surface Book 2 with GTX 1060. Do you think SLS will be a significant boost in productivity? I mostly use 2d animation software and after effects.

What version of Intel is yours? I have the surface book and use power director as well. I'm planning on getting this pc as well. The base model is was really what's on my budget, but I don't want power director running super slow.

I wish they would have made the hinge more stiffer, like with their tablet hybrids. Even when I am using the stylus in tablet mode, I'd like to have a faster access to the keyboard.

Great stuff man! But this design of a cover working this way is from the Victorian era. My great uncles had a shaving and barber set with a mirror (where the screen is ) working exactly in the same fashion. Unfortunately, my Surface-book 1 just blew up due to the batteries. I just had to go the apple iPad way, which barely gets warm. Obviously it can’t do what the surface-book can.

I'm also a power director user, and I have the same laptop, but I cannot get it to read h.26 5 files coming from my Canon R6 or R5.... How are you able to make that work?

MN, Good video. Like to agree with you, but Surface, esp this model is overpriced as hell !
