Just a brilliant song and concept. The little guy climbs a Symore tree to see Jesus. Then Jesus says I must eat at your house. After hearing Jesus preach, he turns from his sins and wants to make a mend for the evil he had done. Jesus says Salvation has come to this household. The song reminds me how the gospel changes us from sinner to saint. From unjust to just. From the child of the devil to a child of God. God created man just, holy and righteous just like Himself. Jesus died on the cross and was raised from the dead to reconcile us to bring us to Glory! Eternal life is a free gift, no works can achieve what Jesus did for us, otherwise He died in vain.
