The Mercedes-Benz Type R107 was in production from 1971 until 1989, with this production span it is only second to the legenday G-Klasse in Mercedes' line-up of passenger cars. As successor to the W113 'Pagode' he became Mercedes' first roadster to sport a V8 engine.
