✅ Introduction of Java Persistence API (JPA).
Java Persistence API (JPA), it's a specification of Java.
JPA is used to persist data between Java objects and relational databases.
You can think of JPA as a bridge between object-oriented domain models and relational database systems.
Java Persistence API is a collection of classes and methods to store the data into a database.

The Java Persistence API is just a specification, not an implementation.
There are a lot of implementations of JPA:
- Hibernate
- TopLink
- iBatis
- ORMLite

When we have h2 dependency configured in POM.xml, then why do we need to download and install the h2 database separately? H2 database is anyway an in-memory database.
