Backpacking on the Colorado Trail (collegiate west)

On August 7th I started my backpacking trip, an attempt to backpack around the Collegiate peaks loop. Ultimatly I finished half of the loop, 1/4th on the west side and 1/4th on the east side starting at Twin lakes and ending in Salida. This video catalogs the first 3 days of the trip where I spent a lot of time bumbling around vastly underestimating the difficulty of hiking at such high altitudes and going as far as spending an entire day going back and forth covering almost 0 miles.

I did the loop last September...nine days was a blast...awesome ass kicking country!
