Hello from Canada, thank you for your explanation on the dark and the light. I have been told I'm unloving when I warned against reading extra biblical books and teachings like Jesus Calling and the Shack'. I can't be yolked together with this life group or this particular church. I thought I was following where God wanted me to attend, at this church. I'm sad though because they have become friends. These are difficult decisions, but nessesary. Thank you.

God Tell his followers in Matthew to be the light of the world for Him not to man. We are to show our love and light that don't know Christ Jesus and to be His witness through His Holy Word with out the light that shines through us that shines from Our Father whom gave us faith and understanding of His Laws and not of man's laws on earth becomes the darkness if ones not asked Jesus Christ to come into your heart. This passage reminded me of when I was a child singing this little light of mine I'm gonna let it shine don't let the devil blow it out I'm gonna let it shine. Hide it under a bushel no I'm gonna let it shine. What a blessing it will be when the Glorious day of seeing our Father coming for the church. Happy Father's day to all the daddy's that bring a light upon their child from the Love of our Lord Jesus Christ Amen.

Preaching against sin is a good thing. I have nothing negative to say about that. Preachers have that responsibility to do that. I hope it is not being said that these sins can keep believers from going to Heaven. This in my opinion a saved by works of the law which is totally wrong. My morning devotional reading comes from Galatians, Gal 2:16  Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Gal 2:17  But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
Gal 2:18  For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
Gal 2:19  For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.
Gal 2:20  I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Gal 2:21  I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Try to live as close to God as possible but righteousness does not come by how much we do not sin, even habitual sin. Gal 3:2  This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Gal 3:3  Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? Rom 7:14  For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
Rom 7:15  For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
Rom 7:16  If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
Rom 7:17  Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Rom 7:18  For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh, ) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
Rom 7:19  For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
Rom 7:20  Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Rom 7:21  I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
Rom 7:22  For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
Rom 7:23  But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Rom 7:24  O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
Rom 7:25  I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. The Apostle Paul also struggled with sin. I believe every believer would say, Jesus has suffered and died and rose again for my sins. I will therefore sin no more. But can we as believers do that? No. Gal 3:2  This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Gal 3:3  Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? I wanted to share this because I did not want believers who have struggles with sin to think they will go to hell for those habitual sins. If God cannot save me from my habitual sins, I will go to hell but I believe scripture states that He can and will do so.

Place a candle on a table next to a wall . Light the candle . Shine a flash light on the candle. The candle will cast a shadow against the wall, the flame will not ! There is no darkness in light !

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, Nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.
