Baker should and will start early. If he fails, it will be Trask’s turn. If he succeeds, the Bucs look like geniuses. Baker just needs stability. He’s got all the tools…just been in a revolving door of systems and tried to play through some serious injuries. Gotta respect his competitive edge, but he’s gotta know when to shut it down. This is a win/win situation for the Bucs. If you’re a TB fan, and you disagree, I can’t help you.

Baker is one of those guys I would ordinarily think gets what he deserves, but somehow despite his cocky brash ways, I can't help but cheer for the guy. I'm a lifelong Chiefs fan. I think Baker was good for Cleveland. I loved the game last year where he was traded during the week and lead the Rams to a comeback. Maybe it's those At Home Progressive commercials. For some inexplicable reason I wish the guy well and want him to succeed, as long as it's not against Chiefs Kingdom.

If you start Trask, Baker would be an excellent backup for him. If Trask goes out and blunders, then you have a solid player in Baker to rally the team. However, you still have that in him as a backup.
