This video will showcase you what has changed in the 8.2.0 update for the Midwich map rework. Basically, BHVR have removed some breakable walls, blocked the view of both exit gates & added in random obstacles around the map whilst moving some generators or hooks to other places.

The gates being blocked makes sense. patrolling the courtyard after the gates are powered is super strong.
The obstacles in the hallways makes zero sense. nobody uses the hallways for chases, they run into the classrooms.

I'll be honest, not a huge fan of the hallways being changed. The exit gates I get, but I kinda liked the long hallways, seeing a Ghost Face at the end it.

Oh and apparently they made pallet spawns more rng dependent, so ppl have been getting games where legit no pallets spawn in the outside/courtyard part

Idk about the hallways, but I think it would be really funny if like 1 of the hallways was just a maze of lockers

The exit doors really needed to be changed, but everything else looks very bad. When I was playing killer, it was the only closed map I didn't suffer

Wow, they actually made it much better. I had my reservations, but this seems so much more balanced. Those old exit gates were unfair, and the empty hallways were easy pickings for huntresses, deathslingers, and nurses. W update.

i mean i get the idea with the obstacles but having the lockers just sitting there in the middle like that looks really awkward doesn’t it?
