Avril Lavigne chatted with Access Hollywood at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards and talked about what it is like to be back on a red carpet amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Her boyfriend, Mod Sun, hit the carpet for the first time and gushed about his rock star girlfriend. "I am so lucky I am standing next to an icon, love it," he said. “I just get to stand next to her and that is the luckiest part of my entire life pretty much."
