So fun stitching with you ladies this evening, as we're ALL stitching on the same piece! The most recent concert (not REALLY recent, but the last concert I went to) was Genesis. It was before our daughter was born, so I'm thinking around 10years ago....

I liked your topic today and I was stitching on Bless Our Home too.

I went to see The Beach Boys and Chicago in Oakland CA. It was at the Oakland Coliseum at one of the Day on the Green concerts back in the seventies. I must have been thirteen and went with some friends. Parents to this day never knew we snuck out to that concert. Ten years later, in the early 80’s, didn’t want my niece to do the sneaking so her Aunts took her to see Duran Duran at the Oakland Arena. A bunch of teenyboppers crowded the lower part of the arena around the stage and I started laughing when my 28 year old sister joined the crowd. The last concert I went to with my 25 year old niece last year at the Oakland Arena. It was one of Prince’s last performance just one month before he died. He put on a fantastic show and we both grieved to hear of his passing.

I haven't been to a concert for a while and my health make it that I won't be able to do that also. But I love to hear stories about it.

The first concert that I ever went to was in 1989 and it was a free concert put on by one of our local radio stations, so my older brother and I had both recently gotten married. And we got tickets and us and our spouses went to it and only went because it was free, lol. We didn't recognize who any of the singers were. Well, years later, I'm going through photo albums and I come across those tickets, cuz I keep stuff like that. And I"m reading it and I'm like OMG, Garth Brooks was one of the singers at that concert, when he was a nobody. And I can't to this day remember if we had gotten there in time to hear him sing or what. Cuz we got there late and left early. That was the only concert that I have ever gone to. I was 18 years old. Good memories! I have an idea for ya's next stitch with me video, how about ya talk about what shows ya like to watch, I mean like Outlander, Westworld, Walking Dead lol. Or movies in general, like how the last Avengers once again, left us hanging on the edge of our seat AGAIN!! Me and Jordan talked a little about that on instagram one day, lol. What’s the best way to frog a project? I’m working on Bless Our Home and decided I want to frog part of the house so I can add our white dog instead of the flowers on the right side. I’m having a heck of a time getting all the floss out!
