Hi Dr Jen, I’ve been on Celexa for a few years. I have noticed that I have gained a little bit of weight, not too much though.

The only side effect I had with SSRI (Lexapro) was a slightly decrease on my desire to do "adult sports" (I fixed it by quitting my sedentary life and doing cardio exercises, btw).

But my life improved a lot! And wouldn't mind if I became totally asexual by taking my meds.

Hi Dr Jen and thanks for the info. Been Dx’d with Anxiety/Depression/PTSD and put on benzodiazepines which have worked wonders where a few antidepressants made me feel worse until my Dr put me on Trazodone for sleep issues and noticed it helped with the other issues mentioned. Hopefully I’ll see more improvement down the road!

SSRI have full potential to cause Post SSRI sexual Dysfunction. PSSD can became permanent issue for most of the people. Doctor never try to inform this potential side effects.
