In this college football video about conference realignment, Couz will take a look at four ACC schools and see if they are a good fit for Big 12 Conference expansion. He will look at Pitt, Virginia Tech, North Carolina State and Louisville. He will compare these schools with those in the Big 12 when it comes to academics, tv viewership, football success, and brand value. He will also talk about potential rivalries that could be formed by adding these teams to the conference. Is the Backyard Brawl between West Virginia & Pitt a big enough rivalry to warrant adding the Panthers? How many viewers do these four schools get on average? Which one has the highest blue blood ranking? Couz will answer all these questions and more in the video. #conferencerealignment #big12football #accfootball

Being a Texas Tech fan, the prospect of the ACC falling apart gets me the most excited for West Virginia. I've always felt bad for you guys being a little bit on the outside geography wise. If any of these scenarios really played out I feel like y'all would feel a lot more at home in our conference.

VT and NC State according to the Athletic have already talked to BY about joining Big 12 and leaving ACC once FSU gets out of The ACC. Louisville and Pitt would be excellent additions as well.

I will be very happy for all my WVU friends out there when you go from having the worst travel in B12 to rivalry games against Pitt and VT every single year.

My wish list would be Miami, Louisville, PITT, Georgia Tech

Good mix of Brands, Markets, rivalries, and academics.

Crazy how the Big XII went from 'stick a fork in it - it's done' to gobbling up other conferences.

I like your honesty. Way to be unbiased. 1. Louisville, 2. VT, 3. NC State, 4. Pitt. This is why I watch your channel.I know in your heart of hearts as a WVU fan you would want Pit to the first choice, but you gave a pretty objective reasoning for your order. Keep up the good work.

I believe the ACC will make it through, if anything a mega merger between the Big12, ACC & the Pac 2. Cards fans were irritated with the ACC for not getting WVU & Cincy into the ACC 2 years ago. UL would greatly appreciate playing WVU again, in football & basketball (*2005 Blackout game). As far as the TV ratings go, it's 50% UL fans watching for the win, & 50% stinky UK fans watching for the loss, so that'll never change. I think your research was done very well, and the video was great.

I’m moving Pitt to #2 because the Backyard Brawl is something the B12 can package and sell to TV Networks. The B12 should strive to be the conference of rivalries. The BYB, Holy War, Farmagedon, and Keg of Nails can headline close to 20 rivalry games the conference could produce.

First-time viewer and subscriber; like your show and love your accent. Always enjoyed my trips to Morgantown. Having said that, I am a big PITT fan, love their volleyball program, and the academic /research components of the University are reaching great heights. I would love to see PITT, Louisville, NCSU and Miami if things can fall that way. Schools that will ultimately pay the price to win. Syracuse and Duke would be great additions. Basketball would easily be top-notch BUT THE BIG12 MUST WIN AT FOOTBALL to restate the obvious. Every member must commit to winning football or any new configuration will still fall well below the Big 2. I think if BIG12 can attract these six one day a big contract will be in the offing. Pretty exciting prospects going forward.

My list would be Pitt, Louisville, VA Tech, NC State. Think not only football, but also basketball...

Those schools are great, but that depends on if NCST and VT are not tied to UNC/UVA if and when UNC/UVA leaves the ACC.

Couz, Well done! Thanks for this informative video. I'm biased so I won't rank these schools, but I will say that all 4 of these schools would fit into the B1G XII. Honestly, I don't believe that every ACC school is one of the best fits for the Big XII, but every one of these 4 schools would provide value.

Louisville & Pitt fit. If anything, the rivalry with West Virginia would turn up the heat for them. They need more regional opponents.
