Kai Joo Lane is one of the oldest streets in Kuching. It was originally built by a chinese businessman, Mr. Kai Joo. Over the years, it has been known by many names, and it has had many different tennants in all the shoplots.

There used to be opium dens here, coffin makers, and now the street is home to various tailors and most famously: pastry bakeries.

You have really become one of them. Clearly you get along with the locals, especially the shopkeepers, and you enjoy the culture and food in Kuching and have adapted well. I have left Kuching decades ago and I remembered walking along Main Bazaar and all the streets in the old part of Kuching. Really enjoy all your videos. God bless.
