they aren't really comparable, 2093 was beautiful, artistic, experimental, and hit really hard. lyfëstyle was rage and vibes but it's his 2nd best work imo (2nd to 2093)

No, but from a couple of tracks i've heard on Lyfestyle, i wouldn't call it much of a regression. This is like his more refined Lyfe, Afterlyfe tape, but i do want for him to go try other directions tho. And also this is Yeat so there's obviously filler on this album

the way 2093 is stylized with the whole “power in a cyberpunk world” thing is really cool. i was a yeat fan before it released, but 2093 is genuinely his first project with any sort of artistic merit. i think it has the best and most atmospheric soundscape of any hip-hop album from 2024.

lyfestyle is more repetitive and nowhere near as ambitious as 2093 but still has a good number of solid tracks. it’s going to take a lot to top 2093.

2093 is beautiful but depressing. I enjoy lyfestyle more. The bangers from Lyfestle hit harder than 2093 too.

It's not exactly better but it's still a very good album. I'm impressed with his comsistency. For me personally i vibe with this one more than 2093

Yes it it, 2093 was boundary pushing but did not age well. Lyfestyle is an album I wish I could listen to all day.
