I need someone to get the Death Note Japanese TV Drama (2015) on their radar. I'd loooove to hear their thoughts on it as an adaptation of Death Note that makes a lot of very different narrative choices while still holding onto the key moments of the original story.

I feel like people always ask them about Noteflix and the Japanese movies, which is fine, but I really wanna hear more of their thoughts on the other (arguably better) adaptations like the musical and the japanese tv drama. Especially the drama since it had 11 episodes to tell the story as opposed to 2+ hours like the rest.

I almost stopped watching the show after L died, but I ultimately kept watching because i was hoping Light would die and I wanted to see that. L was my favorite character though. I’m never going to get over his death.
