I set off at 5:30 AM and reached the summit by 8:30 AM. After exploring the area for about an hour, I headed back down, arriving at my car around 11:30 AM.
The trail started with a leisurely 2-mile stroll through a flat, wooded area. The next 2 miles were a bit steeper but still within a beautiful forest. The final mile leading to the summit offered breathtaking views and included a couple of fun, but easy, scrambling sections.
While the summit views were amazing, I highly recommend exploring further northeast along the trail. I found the scenery there to be even more stunning!
