As long as it is fun it's ok. Fun is the most important thing

I like racing games and played endless games since the last 30 years... but I always struggled with PC1 and 2 because I play on PS4 (PS3 before) and use a controller. So these two games were too tricky to drive, they were getting on my nerves. I liked the big amount of cars and tracks but I couldn't really enjoy driving them all. Now I hope (and already see) that PC3 is more arcade and for Console-Gamepad-.Enthusiasts like me. So I am really happy and can't wait to get my early access.
Have a nice time and keep on with your channel :-) Greetings, Peer

I'm not sure either.... An arcade racer can still be fun and in VR too, but i own Project Cars2 and this doesn't have that much more content. Price is a little high aswell. Maybe i'll wait for sale prices

Adding all of PC3’s new stuff to PC2’s core game, brilliant! Keep your existing base, add a shit ton of new casual players (maybe). One game to do it all... start as pad noob bashing around giggling your head off, create your own liveries, chuck racing parts on an old Escort, ram everyone, cut every chicane, perfect... but ALSO get better, join a league, race BoP pure race cars, full pits tires fuel, endurance racing, also perfect!

Why SMS chose to make it an either/or rather than a both beats me. Lose your existing base to maybe gain a different base that may be no larger (GTS is pretty much a straight sim with good pad handling and has 8M sales) is crazy...

That’s an interesting comment about it seeming like a mobile game. Perhaps that’s the underlying truth in all this mess. SMS have been working on that damn mobile game for YEARS (longer than they have PC3 for sure!) and no doubt developed it on their existing PC game framework. Perhaps they tired of whatever issues have delayed getting it to port to mobile devices, and just went ahead with the PC development version as a full game? That would fulfill their contract with BN for one more game with the minimum work, and if there’s one thing SMS specialize in, it’s doing the minimum work!

TBH, it always made better sense for the next Project Cars full sim game to come out on the next gen consoles (PC1 did well as it beat Gran Turismo by at least 2 years to the PS4) as that allows them to develop for PC and console with less compromise than the PC/PS4 difference in capabilities.

So maybe this game is really a big FU to Bandai, and SMS are playing their cards close to their chest for something for the next gen consoles fairly soon? That at least would be the smart move. Mind you, given Ian Bell’s record (that Madness Box console was obviously a drug-fueled pipe dream nightmare from the gitgo!) what are the odds for a smart move?!

I spent HOURS and hours on Project Car 2. I personally hate to see they switched it up to more of a shift on steroids. No LeMans, no tire wear, and no refueling (even though there is dynamic timing in the game).

I can understand their move from a business standpoint but I'm standing way back on this one and watching from the outside.

I haven't played this game yet, and I believe you are correct....at least for me I liked Pc2, that is until I bought Assetto Corsa, rfactor 2, and my latest, AMS2. After playing any one of these games, pc2 is gathering digital dust. It was a crap shoot as to how a car would react in a givin situation. A guess was about your best shot, unless you just memorized how a car would feel in a corner. Now AMS2...that's a real sim. Same goes for rfactor 2. I just don't think I will buy Pc2, unless over time that add the ability to use the content as a real sim. Nothing against the "simcade" if that's what you are into. Just not my bag of trucks. My only disappointment is the hype that slightly mad Studios put behind this game. There will be a lot of disappointed slightly mad customers, if this game is what reviews have been saying so far. Good honest review man ! Keep up the good work.

Well I don't know if I'm gonna buy it. The pre order it's just too expensive for me (I'm Colombian), and right now if I want to play a simcade I'll better buy Forza Motorsport 7, even PCARS 2 still a good choice these days.

So they are aiming at a broader audience? :ie teaching kids a false driving experience. No wonder so many of the new generation can’t drive when they are at the age to go for their car licence.
