Minolta SRT101 and Lomo 800 - Sydney Photowalk

In this Video we explore and try to capture some interesting light and moments, nothing too serious, a bit like a sketching with light from Central to Circular Quay in Sydney with a the very underrated Minolta SRT101 and a roll of Lomography 800 film.

I love how you use your guiding lines and how you always align subjects on the eighth with these guiding lines. The photo of the bird flying in the air with the bridge in the background and the metal points in the water moving the the right hand side of the frame was especially impressive. You got the bird in the top right eighth (damn impressive), horizon on point with the leveled shot, and overall an extremely pleasing and impressive shot.

Just bought an SRT101 this afternoon on Ebay and am eagerly awaiting its arrival in the post. Really enjoyed your video and found it really inspiring to get out there and start taking photos .... Hi Viva La Film .... just came across this video while trying to hear more about Minolta cameras... I recently update to SR505 Malt Black.
you can also have a try on Olympus M1 or OM-1 film camera... the shutter sound is really for a fully mechanical camera and the ergonomic is awesome...

so glad you showed the srt 101 some love. I shoot my grandpa's hand-me-down and it's magnificent I feel like it doesn't get enough credit. It will take pictures without batteries! so good.

Hello. Mine's mirror get stuck whenever i shoot and i can't see anything in the viewfinder unless i advance the lever. Does it has an effect on the photos?
