Day In My Life @ The US Naval Academy

My name is Justin Chu and I am currently a freshman studying Robotics and Control Engineering at the US Naval Academy. I currently play Division 1 Water Polo at USNA and am looking into making new vlogs about my journey in college.

Finished the application for the class of 2026 a few weeks ago. My advice to applicants: GET IT DONE. It will get VERY discouraging at some points but that’s the idea.
Fully completing USNA’s application is an accomplishment in of itself. It requires you keep your head down and step out of your comfort zone. It requires you to ask for help. If you’re currently a High school Junior, begin your research now! Apply to summer seminar! You’ve got this!!

I am currently a senior in high school waiting to hear back from the academy and this video is amazing. There aren’t that many people on YouTube that are vlogging at USNA so I would definitely love to see more come from you. Keep up the great work! Also maybe in the future invest into a better camera! Class of 2017 here. This definitely brought back memories. 8:51 where I used to walk back from the library every evening after nightly studies for exams. What good times I had.

I went to the USNA 2023 Summer STEM program, it was one of my best memories of the entire summer. Now I'm going into 9th grade- hope you can see this :) Nice documentation

I applied to the class of 2026 and am still waiting to hear back. The application process was no cake walk but even if I am not accepted I know the experience in of itself was totally worth it! This video helped me to get an inside perspective of what life at the academy would be like for me, so thank you! Good luck to everyone else who applied or plans to apply in the future. I am in 10th grade and prospecting possible colleges, my father is a 1990 graduate. after watching this I am fired up and ready to commit to getting accepted to USNA! Thank you so much for inspiring me! GO CLASS OF 2029! BEAT ARMY!

It made me really happy watching this. I'm a senior at uc riverside, currently and we have just about the same structure life style. I also really soke it in, take pictures in the mirror etc. Up at 0400, gym, class at 0800, hit the pool deck and track around noon-afternoon. It's a schedule I really enjoy and can really feel it when watching this. I am also omw to the Navy brother. Thank you for the video.

I got so confused when you were walking to the dining hall. I was like "why is this kid filming at the night when he is filming a day video." Then I realized that it was like 7:00 in the morning and still dark, lol.

My nephew Cj 💙 join the Navy Academy on the 30th of June 2022.He came back from the Navy Academy after staying in for 4month.he is working to finish the next 4yrs .Its was rough when he went in. But now he is learning to adjust..
