Easter Egg Surprise

How to make an Easter egg out of string, and filled with chocolate mini eggs. Using a balloon, string and glue learn how to make a string Easter egg. Makes a nice Easter decoration and its a great fun craft project to make with children.

Make these with orange coloring for Halloween and put felt eyes, nose and mouth for a pumpkin. Do it for Christmas etc.

tip- instead of popping the balloon you can poke a hole near the knot in the balloon and slowly deflate it and ease it off the string slowly. This stops the string collapsing in if it it stuck to the balloon and saves you having to go through the whole process again!

My family just made two. It took about 200 feet of small mason line or more. We made a large funnel and put 7 plastic eggs with candy inside one of them and the other full of shiny wrapper chocolate pieces. Thanks Dave.

Just a tip, put clear tape on to the balloon and poke where the tape is and the air will slowly come out and not make a big noise
You might need to poke a few holes, though

Cool, also works great with stringed caramel sugar for an edible egg, use a heavier water baloon so it doesn't pop from the heat though.
