Costi Hinn is an incredible blessing and a highly knowledgeable individual to engage in a discussion concerning the abuse of the Holy Spirit and the accurate understanding of His nature. Being a member of a charismatic church myself, it deeply saddens me to witness the misuse of the Holy Spirit's name and the negative consequences that arise from such actions.

I found this VERY helpful. Recognizing when we start posturing (whether we realize it or not) - and just stop it. It's important to be willing to just walk in the Spirit. And I don't mind saying "What do you think of this?" When I have an idea and want to know if it will hit others who are walking in Christ and the Spirit as a good idea. We don't have to "spiritualize" things to either get people to understand this is important to us, or worse, try to "win" the argument with a subtle over reach. Just say "I'd like to" and whatever it is. I don't feel comfortable most of the time saying "God said" (unless followed by scripture) or "God has laid this on my heart". Really the only time it gets awkward for me is when I just want to say "Look at this! Isn't God amazing?!" because I want to share what God does and I noticed, finally. I like the idea of just owning it, so if I start thinking strangely, my brothers and sisters in Christ won't think they have to "attack" something I'm claiming "God gave me" to say "Are you okay? This sounds off." to me to let me know a back wheel of my life is hanging off the track, or vibrating in a scary way. I WANT to hear about that. So, for me, it's to just stop cloaking what I'm saying and let it hang out there, and God's sovereign, right? So if I am not cloaking my thoughts with "God gave me" language, others have more freedom to let me know they agree, or think I need to see the doctor!

Still digesting this great conversation, I have read Good Morning Holy Spirit by Mr Benny Hinn, and it was a lovely testimony on Mr Hinn's early life and his born again experience, I realize that he must have fallen from that place as per this interview with Mr Costi Hinn, praying that we will all finish the race of life and faith in the Lord Jesus well ❤❤❤🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
