A New Year’s Prayer for 2025 - A Prayer for the New Year

Dear Heavenly Father, We thank you that you are with us in every moment of our lives. As we enter into this new year with excitement and even some anxiety, we recall your deep compassion, presence, and abounding love. Be with us as we move forward, rejoicing with you and supporting one another. Help us to put aside past and present setbacks and failures and look with confidence to the new year ahead. Fill us, Lord, with your strength and courage to never give up. Guide our paths and direct our steps according to your will. Shower us with your grace and mercy. Thank you, Father, for your promises to never leave us nor forsake us. Thank you for your protection and care.

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:60)

To you Father, I give all the praise, honor and glory. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

I will trust in Jesus even as I’m struggling, paying bills and putting food in my refrigerator. I will never lose my faith in Jesus he died for our sins. Jesus please hear my prayers. As a single mother things are difficult on me. My husband passed years ago I’m alone. I’m overwhelmed at times because both of my children are autistic and non verbal. I’m struggling trying to support them and myself.
I lost my job as a social worker at Forsyth hospital because I declined the vaccine. I declined because of my pre existing health condition lupus and heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption. I wish I could go back to the hospital but the mandate is still in place for hospitals that participate in Medicare and Medicaid all employees must have covid 19 vaccine. So for now I’m waitressing and I’m so thankful to be working again, but I’m not making nearly enough to make ends meet. I get harassed and called names for simply asking for prayers, but prayers are all I need. I have faith God will provide. He HAS THIS FAR. WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! Please pray for me and my children.

Lord, I ask please that you will shine your Light on me so that I may share it with all those I meet. Help me Lord to be more like you and less like me. Guide me and direct me please as I try my best to walk the walk and not just talk the talk. Father God please take my hand and steadfastly walk with me keeping me on the path of righteousness for your name's sake.
