I have been struggling to be excited for Christmas this year. My dad passed away suddenly 3 days after last Christmas and every time I try to prepare for Christmas in any way… I just think of him and that he won’t be here this year and I just start crying. He was the best dad and grandpa in the world and this year without him has been so hard. I’m hoping watching Jess and Tyler’s old VLOGMAS’s will put me in a better and more festive mood and not just sad. Please send prayers to me and my family this holiday season if you don’t mind. And I’ll be sending out prayers to everyone who will be missing a loved one this holiday season.

Hi Jessica. The dish with ground beef is a Cape Malay dish from South Africa. We eat it all the time. You pronounce it Bob oor tie. It is an Afrikaans name. I was so surprised that you guys in USA have heard of it. Love your channel. Laurette
