Its for someone who changed the culture and music industry. He certainly has done that. Elton John and Bernie Taupin just won it this year. Also email the Mayor of the to have the airport renamed the Elvis Presley Airport. He deserves both of these.

it was fantastic to see Elvis on BBC and heartbreak hotel was good, it's probably been on before but I can't remember seeing it. me hubby put on record for me but I didn't know GI Blues and Blue Hawaii was on like so I'll say to him tut tut lol x

Have to watch on catch up this week, and watching while writing this. It's funny that the Goulet saga was acted out in the begining of the 1979 ELVIS biopic.

It was because when Elvis was in the Army, Anita did a show with Goulet who said that he would take care of Anita while Elvis was away. Years after Anita, Elvis shot out a TV when Robert came on. Elvis still cared for Anita and even told Anita years after that he made a huge mistake. Anita said it was meant to be because of the children involved. Priss was not honest with Elvis about her desire for the limelight for herself and clearly not the homemaker wife he wanted for himself. I still get a bit ticked off that Mrs. Priss using the Presley name after Elvis paid her handsomely not to.

Great show Steve, I think that if he saw what was written in the letter it would have made him a bit miffed but I remember seeing a scene once when Elvis shot at the TV he did look a bit angry, well I don't blame him, as for Priscillas book, nope not interested she's trying to be noticed again the person who this is about isn't here to tell his story he never got a chance to💔

Not true. Robert didn’t know Anita nor there was any hate between the two. Elvis was a friend of ours. Robert and Elvis were very good friends. Elvis gave Robert a beautiful amethyst ring and a hand ivory carved gun handle and engraved RG. However sadly, when Elvis was on his 24/7 diet of uppers and downers he would shoot TV sets, not only when Robert was on, but he also shot at the TV when Frank, Sammy, Vic Damone, Tom Jones, Andy Williams, Bobby Darin, Mel Tormé and many others were on. Sometimes he would shot at the TV when the TV was not even on just for the hell of it. Drugs make people behave in strange ways. Robert made a movie with Priscilla, we were friends with her (I still am). She confirmed in several interviews what I have stated in this comment.
