Learn how to make this easy crunchy Brazilian Flat Bread using your #blendjet! Low calories, no sugar and gluten free, and you can also make it dairy free! Easy to make, even easier & faster to clean! A small recipe that fits your standard BlendJet cup and serves up to 4 people!This #brazilianflatbread also known as #biscoitodepolvilho is the perfect anytime snack and pairs well with a nice summer salad or warm bowl of soup
Total time: less than 1 minute
Servings: up to 4
INGREDIENTS
1 egg
1 tbsp of olive oil
100 ml of room temperature water
1 cup of sour starch aka polvilho azedo
*Polvilho azedo also known as Sour Starch in the USA can be found in many Latino stores and online websites such as Amazon.
Note this is not the same as tapioca flour.
TOPPINGS
Salt & pepper to taste
Shredded cheese (mozzarella, Parmesan)
Anything you would like from chilli pepper flakes to parsley and Chimichurri!
Option for lactose free : substitute cheese for other toppings of preference!
DIRECTIONS
(1) Blend all your ingredients until well mixed
Consistency should be liquid, never creamy!
If creamy, add more water
(2) Add the liquid into your baking dish and top it as you wish
(3) Preheat your oven at 250C or 480F
(4) Bake for 25-30 minutes.
Avoid to open the oven before 20 minutes
