President Joe Biden said on Friday January 12 the U.S. will not let up on its response to the Houthi rebels "if they continue this outrageous behaviour." Biden made the comments to reporters as he toured local businesses outside of Allentown, Pennsylvania. Iran-backed Houthi forces are vowing fierce retaliation after the U.S. and Britain launched multiple airstrikes targeting the militant group, further raising the prospect of a wider conflict in a region already beset by Israel's war in Gaza.
