Love how you always include photos of looks, it’s so helpful to have a visual reference.
A lot of people seem to love the PM Venus in Flures because of the pinky shifty shade but the matte not being good is a big deal for me, particularly with a $$quad! It almost looks like wherever shadows initially placed is where it wants to “stick”, I totally see what you’re talking about! As much as I love how some of the textured flaky gorgeous shades swatch….I really don’t like he fuss of getting them on. Never fails I end up looking like a glitter fairy, there are a few of the special shades that just seem to wear me, more than I’m actually wearing them!
I really appreciate how you talk about formulas and what works and why something didn’t, you do such a great job with breaking things down and seem to notice a lot of the small nuances many just don’t mention.
I loved Retro! Her cream/powder formula is right in there with PM special shades or Tom Ford Wet/dry for me! Retro surprised the hell out of me, it’s not like other pink/burgundy palettes…it’s much more muted/neutral and just seems to work with my fair/olive skin tone so well.
Yes celestial odyssey is Amazing! Excellent quality, I love the variety of shades/formulas …and the color story, such a win!

Martina! The pictures of the eye looks you’ve included in this video are so inspiring! You say you’re not a make up artist but you look like a model with a whole team of make up artists in these photos. Also the lip and eye combos are 🔥. I enjoyed looking back at this one:)

My first experience with PML was this year and I ended purchasing almost all her mothership palettes, as well as many quads and the mega palette. So I have to say all my PM palettes are my favourite (mothership 4 is my #1 though). ☺️

I love all these palettes, so so beautiful, I love the Charlotte Tilbury palette that has 4 looks in it. But u can mix colours from anywhere and make amazing looks ❤❤❤❤❤

I love my Huda Beauty "Mercury Retrograde" palette but I understand what you mean that sometimes it just doesn't work for me? I have to have time to play and take my time. I love Beauty Bay, the "Wilderness" and "Love Notes" and "New Romantic"....they are all great! I don't know about the smaller palettes by Beauty Bay but all the bigger ones I have purchased are great!

This is probably my favorite kind of eye shadow palette video format. Reviews are usually done in a bubble, with sometimes a couple of palettes are referenced to point out their similarities to the palette in mention but with these ranking videos they are stacked against palettes they are not normally compared towards to. 😍

I felt the same way about the ND Retro Palette! I talked myself out of it (I actually prefer the color story of Lila, and the cooler mauve tones remind me of PML divine rose) — but I received it as a gift from a girlfriend and LOVE IT!

I felt the same with the ND Retro palette. Initially I was going to pass but I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Something about it reminded me of the Glam palette, which I love. They actually work really well together. So glad I got it. Also, love that Viseart Cashmerie palette. It’s so easy to wear and the formulas practically put themselves on. Recently picked up the Paris Etoile palette and love it as well. Most of my Viseart palettes are softer colors so I was really drawn to the darker colors. My dark horse palette this year was the Nars Climax palette. I’m not normally a fan of Nars eyeshadows/color stories but this one is beautiful. Highly recommend it!

So ND Retro is 2 and Celestial Odessy is 1. These were in a lot of peoples favourites. I too truly adore my Mel Thompson Tiny Marvels palette. I miss her videos. Interesting ranking. Palettes are so personal. I got the ND Retro for Christmas and I love it.

Mercury Retrograde is actually my favourite Palette I own! However it is very light. I've been loving the og abh norvina Palette and the amor y mariposas by melt.

I've been using the mega celestial non stop recently, it has so many options!!! every time I open it my imagination blown, I want to do so many looks with it! retro is also really beautifull but I need to be on the mood of this kind of shades

I lost so many Dior quints in my apartment fire. I used to love them. Probably still would, but Pat McGrath started her brand when I was recovering from the jump from the fire. I slowly replaced my eye makeup collection with mostly PMG. I remember being in my hospital bed crying because I couldn’t get my hands on her first releases when I should have been crying over medical bills, lol.

No4, Natasha Denona Glam Face Palette... I hear you, in my head I tore the Huda Beauty Rose Quarts to shreds, thinking it looked waaay too similar to Mercury retrograde.. I've now had the Rose Quarts for maybe 2 weeks.. And I bloody love it 😂 it's one of my most used 2021 palettes, I can't put it down. 😂 My reasoning was, Rose Quarts looked different on screen, than in person, the more reviews I saw of it, I needed to have it, so I guess I can clown with you then 😅


Oh dear.. Favourite eyeshadow palette... Its a tie between Rose Quarts and Retro palette from Natasha, I have green eyes so the retro palette makes my eyes stand out far more.
